Dressform sewing bag
There was only a itty bitty piece of this dressform fabric - maybe 1/2 yard so I had to make the most of it! I used this to transport my things to sewing class.
My background is in fashion design. I've worked for Sue Wong, Tina Hansen, Sassoon and a few other great designers. My first job was as a sample cutter (while in design school) and I can cut with the best of them. I learned to use 12inch scissors and can't cut with anything smaller. I still consider that position one of my best jobs...I now teach sewing/machine embroidery as a profession and I can usually be caught staring into space designing my next project. Hubby has to snap me out of it on a regular basis. I would rather be designing/sewing than just about anything else, aside from hanging out with my family.
Gardening and cooking Indian food run a close second but unfortunately there are not enough hours in a day to be totally and completely self indulgent.
